As a new marketing coordinator, I wanted to understand the various aspects of the Allant Group. Through my quest to learn more, I got to sit down and speak with Mike Tworek, Director of Business Development and Indirect Sales at Allant Group. Mike is in charge of strategic partnerships and we met to talk specifically about the relationship between Allant Group and RedPoint Global.

Lydia: So, Mike tell me about what you do at Allant.

Mike: I work with our strategic partners to identify synergies between our companies that are focused on helping improve customer engagement for our joint clients. My recent background is mostly focused on business intelligence, data warehousing solutions, and big data platforms to help drive business insights. A common theme that I have experienced is that you need the right data at the right place and at the right time to be able to deliver value added business solutions. What I am excited about is that we just announced a strategic partnership with RedPoint Global, which will now help us extend our digital and real-time customer interactions.

Lydia: That sounds interesting, I’ve heard of RedPoint but could you tell me more about them?

Mike: Absolutely, so RedPoint offers a customer engagement software platform that provides multi-channel campaign management and advanced customer interaction capabilities. With their solution is an underlying customer data platform (CDP) that brings together all available data to create actionable 360-degree views of each customer, which allows us to engage in more relevant and personalized ways. This is a key component to effective, targeted marketing.

Lydia: Okay so I can already see how RedPoint seemed a good fit for us, could you tell me more about how and why we chose RedPoint?

Mike: We were looking for another industry leading marketing tool to add to our tool-kit which would complement our marketing analytic services. And RedPoint has a great combination of customer engagement software and data integration software, so it ultimately came down to three important factors:

The first is flexibility – RedPoint’s solution is well-suited for marketers in a complex business environment.

The second is data and channel integration – RedPoint can connect to any channel or device, and can ingest and transform any type of marketing data. For example, structured, unstructured, real time, batch, online and offline.

And the third and final factor is strategic support – RedPoint’s clients noted its commitment to delivering value, saying RedPoint operates as if its success is tethered to its clients’ satisfaction and results. This is what makes RedPoint a great fit for mid to large enterprises.

Lydia: Those are great deciding factors, Mike. I also heard you got to attend RedPoint’s annual Customer Conference, how’d that go?

Mike: Yes, it was in mid-October and it was an amazing experience. It was very up close and personal with the RedPoint executives and senior level product specialists; they were right there and made themselves available to you. There were many of RedPoint’s customers both attending and presenting. It was great to hear how the RedPoint solution significantly improved their customer’s marketing campaign programs.

Lydia: This is great to hear, I’m so glad things have been working out so well. What are you working on now within the partnership?

Mike: Right now, we’re working on building a preconfigured retail solution for mid to large retailers. It will allow our customers to deploy a marketing solution in a short amount of time, improving the time to value. Being that the solution is preconfigured it will be easier to deploy and provide immediate value to our customers.

Lydia: I’m very excited to hear the results of this project. So, what’s next for this partnership, Mike?

Mike: Everybody at Allant is excited about it and I can’t wait to share the results. We are confident this is going to be a huge success based on our level of engagement, the intelligent individuals that are behind this, our understanding of the industry, and this being a solution that will address the challenges that retailers have told us.  We are going to continue to build out great complementary solutions between the organizations that will bridge marketing gaps for our clients.
