Marketers understand the concept that not all customers are created equal but are often challenged to think beyond immediate profitability and determine where to best invest marketing dollars to maximize long-term return. The best way to approach this is through a mathematical approach to accurately predict customer value over time to maximize profit across each stage of the customer lifecycle.
This talk will review best practices in data collection, provide an overview of alternative statistical approaches and describe how to select the best approach for varied business models. It will also walk through a comparison of different model approach results using customer data.
